Thankfully, I'm home!

I may or may not have mentioned that BM and I left Southern California for a few days.  Early on Monday morning we hopped on a plane and flew up to San Fransisco for a getaway.  Originally, the trip was created for one reason: to see his 49'rs play my Saints.

We purchased 2 extremely great (and a little pricey!) tickets to the game from a nice 49'rs season ticket holder.  He was a great guy and turned it into a 3 day and 2 night package by throwing in 2 nights at the Inn at the Opera.

We had thought we were driving up there, similar to our trip back in May to the wedding of my little sister, Holly.  But instead, we hit an amazing one-day sale over on Virgin America's website!  Round trip for both us was less than $200!  Gas and parking in San Fransisco would have run us more than that.

So there we were, hitching a flight to San Fransisco to see last year's Super Bowl winners open the Monday night football season for the NFL!

But now, we're home.  I'm recouperating.  Maddie's happy to see us.  BM is craving In 'n Out.

Pictures to come!  Chew on this for a while...

Here's a shot from the Cable Car on the way to Fisherman's Wharf.  Look at that view!

Travel Happy!

They're Steve Young fans? Well here's a treat for them:

We were in the 4th row and they retired Jerry Rice's number at halftime. Jerry Rice and Steve Young walked RIGHT in front of us and I got some pretty good photos! I'll be sure to post them.
